Piste discs represent one of sitour's most recognizable symbols, born in 1964 and always the protagonists of ski area signage. They combine safety, orientation and communication, offering skiers and visitors an immediate indication of the difficulty and numbering of the slopes.

The piste disc is the product that marked the beginning of the sitour business, conceived thanks to the vision of Prof. Peter Schröksnadel, who sensed the importance of a clear, standardized and universally recognizable system to improve safety on the slopes.

Through the use of the standard colors blue, red and black, each disc easily and immediately communicates the level of difficulty of the slope, becoming a key element of the orientation signage of every ski area.
